A visual-sound meeting somewhere in between cold wave and esoteric rap. Kurkiewicz and Ewa Sad will meet on the Chmury stage.
Kurkiewicz is a Pomeranian musician, born in '97, living in Copenhagen. Hubert, despite being inspired by the new wave greats like The Cure, New Order or Talking Heads, modernises their message using new means. The author of lyrics and composer of music characterized by synthesizer pads, aggressive guitars, melodic vocals and automatic drums. His songs are designed to make the listener feel uneasy, while still being suitable for dancing and having fun. Comparisons to Ian Curtis appearing in the media, although overstated, accurately point out the energy of his music, especially during live performances, with the whole band. Lyrics in Polish and English are inspired by the surrounding world and situations, on the basis of which he creates and invents his own stories.
Ewa is a visual artist, and her music is a non-obvious blend of genres with engaging lyrics rich in meaning. The concert will feature songs from her forthcoming album (to be released next year on Tigers Records). She has released three singles so far - on Tigers' YT channel and on Kstyk's channel, where they caused quite a stir.
