About Lambda
Lambda is a four-piece instrumental stoner / post-rock band from Český Krumlov, who since their formation in 2014 have released the EP Space Express (2015), and the albums Heliopolis (2019) and Vere Modus (2022).
The slow-building songs blend delayed post rock surfaces with heavy riffs. All of this is tied together with melodies that take the listener on a sonic journey through time and space. Despite not hearing a single word or vocal line while listening, Lambda's music tells a story in a language that is understandable and unusual to many listeners across the globe. During several international tours, Lambda has played over 120 shows in 14 European countries with names like All Them Witches, Beelzebong, Stoned Jesus, 1000mods, Tuber, Naxatras.
