The 1980s are a colorful period, for some memorable and important because of the flourishing of extreme music. It was then that the bands that built and developed this kind of music scene formed, both on the world stage and in Poland. The indigenous representatives of this decade are indisputably Silesian KAT (speed, thrash, black metal), Poznan's Acid Drinkers (thrash metal) and Olsztyn Vader (death, thrash metal). Kata's output is currently presented live by the Kat & Roman Kostrzewski group. These three formations, which are some kind of metal legends in Poland, in the autumn of this year join forces on a joint tour and will perform together on four concerts. The special guest will be Quo Vadis, who a few months ago celebrated 30 years of artistic activity.
