About Lettuce
Lettuce is a funk band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1992. Its members are guitarist Adam "Shmeeans" Smirnoff, Nigel Hall (keyboards, Hammond B-3 organ, piano, vocals), Adam Deitch (drums / percussion), Erick "Jesus" Coomes (bass), Ryan Zoidis (saxophone) and trumpeter Eric "Benny" Bloom. The band's sound is an explosive blend of funk, soul and jazz coupled with psychedelic sounds and hip-hop elements
Lettuce is known for their live shows, extensive touring, die-hard fans and massive career spanning two decades. Lettuce has brought a new vitality to classic funk, combining their smooth and soulful grooves with a hip-hop inspired urgency.
