"Music is the weapon of the future" is the motto of the open-air festival LiederLauschen am Rand. Directly on the banks of the Oder in the most beautiful nature. For 3 days there will be the best music acts, workshops, performances and food from Poland and Germany. Lovingly limited and family-friendly.
Directly on the German-Polish border, in the tranquil Zollbrücke, more than a dozen up-and-coming artists from Poland and Germany will be on stage. Handmade electro, funk, rock, indie pop and much in between. There will also be a variety of workshops and activities, a colourful family area, the Otto Kultourbus with all kinds of play equipment, beatbox, hula-hoop and singing workshops, a Polish crash course, Polish puppet theatre, performances and of course much, much more.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will spend the night on the freshly mown meadows around the festival site. Those seeking peace and quiet can take a short walk to the Oder River, which is only a stone's throw away, and gaze into the distance.
LiederLauschen claims to be a no-waste festival and lovingly limits itself to a few hundred guests so as not to burden nature, the people and the place. This is also why LiederLauschen am Rand is a family-friendly festival. Children are always in good hands.
70 km from Berlin, at LiederLauschen one can celebrate, listen, dance and unwind with their children and siblings. The journey from Berlin, Eberswalde, Schwedt, Szczecin, Frankfurt/Oder, Strausberg or Bad Freienwalde is easy by public transport, a bus shuttle or, for those who like it sporty, by bike.
Note: It is possible to buy the festival tickets here in Polish zloty.
