A mysterious loner who spends her days in a dusty studio among the mice she raises with tender care. A penetrating observer, a virtuoso of half-tones and subtle modelling, she chose human faces as the main object of her artistic investigations. It is said that she did not paint the eyes, but the gaze; she did not immortalise man, but his soul.
Presenter: Paweł Bień - art historian, culture expert, poet. Graduated from Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at Wrocław and Warsaw Universities. He regularly collaborates with the National Museum in Warsaw and the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. He has been a guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, art exhibition offices and several Universities of the Third Age. Author of the book of poems Light Sensitivity.
