More than 40 years ago, Manfred Mann founded his legendary Earth Band with which he was placed in the charts on a regular base and played all over Europe in sold out halls during the 70s and 80s.

The Earth Band became famous in these days because of their sensational live concerts. Mick Rogers was one of the foundation members in 1971 and still plays in the band. In the beginning of 1992, the group which had separated in 1988 was brought back to life by Manfred Mann.

A legendary double live album documented the class of this band in 1997. In 2004, Manfred Mann released his last studio album titled 2006. On this album, Manfred Mann has proven once again how creative and significant he is. A performance in the German TV show Rockgiganten in November 2004 was responsible for the sold out following tour.

Since 2011, Manfred Mann's Earth Band is on tour with a new voice: Rober Hart (ex Bad Company). Thanks to Robert Hart the new program of the Earth band is again rock-oriented.
