The band Faust was formed in 1996 in the Mazovian town of Wyszków, but suspended its activities after recording and releasing two full-length albums. Faust returned in 2019 with the album Wspólnota brudnych sumień, which was well received by critics, including being included in Musick Magazine's list of the most important albums of the past decade. Their niche is brutal—yet not devoid of melody—death and thrash metal with elements of black metal, with singer Maciej Bartkowski being compared to Chuck Billy of Testament. Since its reunon, Faust's drummer is Paweł Jaroszewicz, known from the likes of Vader, Antigama, Decapitated and Batushka; at some shows substituted by Mateusz Wróbel. At the forthcoming concert, the band will focus on music from their latest album *Cisza po tobie, released in autumn 2022, which received good reviews in Polish and international metal press.
Sceptic is a Polish technical death metal band, formed in 1994 in Kraków. Until 2005, the band released four studio albums, which were positively evaluated by both critics and the audience. Despite frequent line-up changes, the formation has developed a recognisable sound inspired by the achievements of the American band Death. In 2022, the band returned to the original line-up and made a comeback after seventeen years of publishing silence with their fifth album Nailed to Ignorance. The concert at VooDoo will be an hour-and-a-half long career cross-section.
The line-up closes with Henoh, a deathgrind band from Wyszków. They released their first demo, entitled Demonstration, in 2020; they are currently preparing to release their debut album.
