Michael Rother & Friends

Michael Rother & Friends will perform on October 26, 2022 as part of the Sonic Morgue event series at Silent Green Kulturquartier. In addition, the 50th anniversary, with one of the founders of the band NEU!, the first record of NEU! will be celebrated. The music of NEU! has influenced generations of musicians, especially internationally. Together with bands like Kraftwerk and Can and many others, NEU! created a sound that was so far away from the usual blues rock scheme of rock music and thus laid roots without which a lot of electronic and indie music would probably not exist.

Sonic Morgue is a series of events as well as a club night in the concrete hall of the Silent Green Kulturquartier in Berlin-Wedding. Christian Morin, who is also gaining experience as a festival dramaturge at Pop-Kultur, conceived the concert series. Various video installations, performances, art projects and music events are presented at Silent Green.
