Poland's capital city is rarely associated with a place boiling with male and female passions. However, hot feelings burned here which were very often only extinguished by death. Although, at least in one case, death was only the beginning of a successful relationship. Few contemporary residents of the city know that the consequence of passion and male temperament was that one of the largest churches in Warsaw had to be demolished. The lecture will touch on themes in connection with the great and unconcerned feelings for which Warsaw was the backdrop. The tale of the capital's passions will be presented by Warsaw guide Arkadiusz Żołnierczyk, a man who knows everything about Warsaw. The lecture will be held in Polish.
