Music in Old Krakow is one of the oldest Polish festivals. Initiated by the Municipality of Krakow, it has been held since 1976 under the patronage of the Mayor of the City. The creator of the Festival and its artistic director is Stanisław Gałoński - founder and long-time director of Capella Cracoviensis. An important message of the Festival, which emphasizes the most, is the presentation of outstanding soloists and Polish bands, especially in Krakow. This creates the opportunity to introduce many foreign guests to our musical culture. To participate in the Festival, young talented musicians who are at the beginning of their careers are invited alongside famous artists.
