About MY BABY
My Baby from Amsterdam is a genuine phenomenon. The Trio, consisting of the Dutch siblings Sheik (drums) and Cato van Dyck (vocals) and the New Zealand guitarist Daniel Johnston, combines grating blues and modern beats to a driving, captivating mixture. Their live shows, which are laid out as real happenings with visual and sound effects astonish the audience again and again and in the same time inspire with their unique atmosphere. They aim to trigger basic human instincts with the help of modern technology so the audience is able to detach from daily life for a while - and My Baby succeeds in this like virtually no other band of these days. During the show, the audience and the band become a powerful unity.
