The National Centre of Polish Song is a unique place in Opole where concerts are held all year round. Come rain or shine, from our several stages there is music of almost any kind played. The National Centre of Polish Song is also administrator of a music showcase of Opole – amphitheatre, where National Festival of Polish Song takes place. As of 1963, every year for three days in June the amphitheatre and together with it, whole Opole, becomes a musical centre of Poland. From 2011, thanks to object redevelopment, the National Centre of Polish Song has gained the opportunity of fulfilling the role of supra-regional cultural institution and creating an attractive city image of Opole. However, National Centre of Polish Song is not only amphitheatre and summer concerts and other exterior events held throughout all holiday season. All year long, the National Centre of Polish Song organises several dozen of concerts of the most significant Polish bands and artists in the Concert Chamber that can host 500 people. Thereby, in autumn-winter-spring season the National Centre of Polish Song turns into one of the most significant concert clubs in Poland.
