Nik Kershaw

Nik Kershaw is a Bristol-based pop and synth pop singer-songwriter. Nik signed to MCA Records in 1983 and conquered the charts the following year with the song I Won't Let The Sun Go Down. His debut album Human Racing, released 35 years ago, went platinum. Successful tours and other hits followed, such as The Riddle. In 1985, among other things, Nik performed at the "Live Aid" concert organised by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. After more albums, he decided to step back from the spotlight in 1989 and began working in the background as a songwriter and producer. Nik has worked with artists such as Cliff Richard, Bonnie Tyler, Ronan Keating, Jason Donovan, Nick Carter, Connah Reeves, Colin Blunstone, Petula Clark, Gary Barlow, The Hollies, Elton John and Tony Banks.
