About the adult-children-of-alcoholics experience in three acts. A performance inspired by the lives of three visual artists who recognised that the shared experience of growing up in a dysfunctional family does not at all imply a common definition or perspective on the matter.

They come to the theatre with the intention to experiment, establishing communication on the level of honesty. To talk about their own systemic entanglement and to bring the to the surface the figure of the Father—hidden in the body, memories, habits and behaviours. They are interested in manoeuvring between a state of of sobriety and intoxication, visibility and the lack of it, being in and out of roles. They want to talk about the consequences of growing up in families with a (alcohol) problem, which are not easy to talk about alone. This is the voice of the younger generation, who are aware that they too often agreeing to self-exploitation and to taking responsibility for what someone else should take responsibility for.
