Ojciec Karol is a cofounder of Break Da Funk collective created to support broken sounds. Break Da Funk organized many parties in Poland with foreign artists as: Ugly Duckling, DJ Kentaro, Speech Defect, Krafty Kuts, Scratch Perverts, DK, zespół 6ix Toys, Nostalgia 77, DJ Format, Boca 45, A.Skillz, DJ Hype & Jim Dunloop, Natural Self and Rob Life. He released Akumulatura mixtape which reflected some funk influence on dance music and also he released Sepukultura mixtape with some noble polish club musicians: mC glenSKii - voc, Kuba Galiński – synth and org, Suhi vel Sushkin – trumpet and voc, dj Zaju – scratch. It was broadcasted on Ninja Tune show “Solid Steel”. On January 2010 by Funky Mammas & Papas 7” single was released called Break Da Funk Tajniak. Ojciec Karol was coauthor of one of the single’s tracks. Ojciec Karol together with Papa Zura creates “The Fathers” DJ duet. With four turntables, two mixers and effector they play explosive set of heavy funk, soul, reggae, drum’n’bass and breaks. Ojciec Karol also played scratches with hip-hop band Bassgrou. Also he appeared on some records of Łąki Łan, Patent, Letko and Marika. He also had his own radio show in Warsaw’s “Radio Jazz” were he invited many guests to perform life sets with instruments. In 2013 Ojciec Karol joined Soul Service - Polish Funk DJ Team - . It was an occasion to record as special mixtape with Brazilian funk Piąte koło u wozu.
