On Caring, Repairing and Healing

Address Niederkirchnerstraße 7, Berlin
Takes place during Berlin Art Week 2022

Starting in fall 2022, Gropius Bau is presenting an exhibition dedicated to the theme of caring, repairing, and healing. Through installations, paintings, audio formats, and a performance program, the exhibition calls for change and discussion. Issues that have become even more acute and relevant for the individual, as well as for communities and institutions in times of the corona pandemic are foregrounded in this exhibition. Thus, the focus is on thematic areas such as the politicization of health, care for the human body and the environment, and the experiences of minorities, women, and indigenous people. Works and pieces by more than 20 international artists will be on display.

Curators: Brook Andrew, Kader Attia, Natasha Ginwala, Bárbara Rodríguez Muñoz and Stephanie Rosenthal with Clare Molloy in collaboration with SERAFINE1369.
