Karol Mozgawa, known as Deas, is one of the most prominent figures on the Polish electronic music scene in recent years. Born in Greece and living in Krakow, Deas grew up in a home where music did not play a major role. As a teenager he was exposed to trip hop music and bands like Portishead or Massive Attack. While exploring music, he encountered the work of electronic producers - artists such as Dubfire, Plastikman, Lutzenkirchen, Sebastien Leger, and later Robert Hood, Kevin Saunderson, and Anthony Rother permanently changed his perception of reality.
