Orchestr Berg – Places

The city and its soundscape inspired the great American composer Steve Reich. In his City Life you will hear sounds of New York – subway chimes, pile drivers, car horns, door slams or police sirens. Sounds of Mongolian Gobi Desert or Tibetan mountain landscape played an important role for the work of Tristan Murail. We look very much forward to the new work by a young Czech composer Jonáš Starý.
