This year’s edition of Festiwal Skrzyżowanie Kultur will feature Oum, an ambassador of Moroccan culture, who combines in her songs the influences of hassani music, jazz, gospel, soul, afrobeat and Sufi. In her work, she convinces listeners that cultural differences are less important than what brings us together. Also appearing will be Moh! Kouyaté – an artist who, combining the traditional genre of Mandingo, afro beat and funky, tells stories of happiness, the drama of life, exile, daily uncertainties, struggle and hope. His work contains a message for all of us, especially important in these unusual times: If you continue the struggle without losing your zeal and faith in a sunny tomorrow, you will eventually achieve your goals.
