Indie-rock trio Palindromes was founded in early 2011, when living in Prague, French songwriter and producer Xavier Andrieu decided to leave the safety Dejvice slightly lonely basement studio and transfer the pieces of his experimental project Perpetuum Mobile to live bands format. After the first experiments with Ondra Krečmerem drummer the group added bassist Bfetislav Oliva, who previously worked in groups Miou Miou-or Folk3Mail. The trio from the beginning trying to maximize the possibility of casting tooling and combine with the rawness of rock rhythm guitar moods of abstract structures and repetitive motifs consisting of live samples. In the language of the text also appears in addition to English French that brings relief and a certain playfulness to an otherwise fairly urgent Xavier's speech. Even the name of Palindromes is also a link to play with words, sounds and meanings.
