Freeeze

Krzysztof Ostrowski Freeze, a Bydgoszcz musician, instrumentalist and producer, uses the sounds of techno, experiment, ambient, dub, jazz, kraut or improvisation in his work. He leans towards experimental and analogue solutions, such as modular synthesizers or samples of sounds from VHS tapes. He performs solo or as part of the audiovisual duo Soundscape Mirror with visual artist Tom Skof. Together with Mateusz Wysocki (Fischerle) he forms the IFS duo. He has recorded and performed with Piotr Cisak, Grzegorz Pleszyński and the improvised Come Down to Earth Orchestra. He debuted at the end of last year with vinyl material on Jacek Sienkiewicz's label Recognition, and in April this year an album was released by Pawlacz Perski. This year, the second album of IFS duo is planned to be released as well as a new audiovisual version of Soundscape Mirror, which premiered at this year's edition of the Cocart Festival. In Spatif he will play live in the company of VJ Copy Corpo.
