Peter Pan needs no introduction – a proud, headstrong boy who will never grow up. He has no past or future, his life is an eternal now, an eternal Neverland. Only rare visits to children's rooms and some unspoken, forever repressed longing connect him to the real world. That, at least, has been the case until now. Today, however, Peter is out of his element, unable to find his shadow. Instead, he has met Wendy – a girl who had heard of Peter Pan, like everyone else, but wasn't sure if he really existed. A flight together, a trip to the lagoon, a fight with pirates – seemingly nothing obliging, more adventures, in other words, a day like every day in Neverland. And yet, yesterday it all looked completely different… The land of eternal youth begins to lose its carefree character.

Adventures are bursting at the seams and games are dissolving into impotence. Peter feels butterflies in his stomach for the first time and begins to doubt whether fairies even exist. His childhood is coming to an end. But rest assured – everyone decides for themselves when they will leave their Neverland and how often they will return to it. Combining witty dialogue with the opulence of plastic theatre, the play helps the audience to tame the difficult process of growing up.
