For 100 years, the eyes (and ears) of the world have been turned to French song – born under the roofs of Paris, the Champs-Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, the Boulogne Woods and the glass pyramid in front of the Louvre. It is music marked with names such as Edith Piaf, Joe Dassin, Dalida, Mireille Mathieu. It's cancan, cabarets (with Moulin Rouge! leading the way), and even a phantom – after all, it was the building of the Paris Opera that the hero of the novel and musical haunted. As for musicals, although the recent fire damaged Notre Dame Cathedral, the most famous bell-tower in history still features on music stages all over the world. The Palladium Theatre will host a two-hour meeting with French music, giving the opportunity for emotions and smiles, as it usually happens under the roofs of the city of lovers.
