About Pražský barokní soubor

Prague Baroque Ensemble founded oboist and conductor Vojtěch Jouza in 1982. It focuses on the composer’s late Baroque in various instrumental ensembles. Members of the orchestra while playing on modern instruments, but trying to implement a style of Baroque music on period performance practice. The group has members of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and other ensembles. The ensemble regularly collaborates with singers with whom performs sacred and secular cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach and other composers. – Translated by Automatic service
