Choreography film screenings.

During this year's Rozdroże Festival the works of Carolyn Carlson, an outstanding dancer and choreographer, will be shown for the first time in Poland in the form of film screenings, preceded by an introduction by Janusz Marek. Born in the United States, the artist has lived in Europe since 1971. She is the author of over 100 choreographies, some of which have contributed to dance history. She was a soloist with the famous Alwina Nikolais contemporary dance company in New York. In Europe, Carlson has directed such renowned companies as Teatro la Fenice in Venice and Culberg Ballet in Stockholm. In 2014, she founded the international company Carolyn Carlson Company, based in Paris. She was the first choreographer to receive an award at the Venice Art Biennale. Her works are distinguished by their strong spiritual message, visual qualities and perfection of dance.
