Jan Gołębiowski – a profiler, deals with criminal psychology, i.e. the psychology of crime. He worked in the Warsaw Police Headquarters as a police psychologist and then in the Judicial Psychiatry Department. Founder of the Criminal Psychology Centre, which deals with training, consultations and publishing. Currently, he is a court expert and conducts many training courses. Author of the book Profilowanie kryminalne. Wprowadzenie do sporządzania charakterystyki psychofizycznej nieznanych sprawców przestępst (Criminal profiling. Introduction to the psychophysical characteristics of unknown perpetrators of crime). The protagonist of the 2019 CBS Reality Poland series The Profiler. In 2021, his book The Mind of a Criminal.
