The R.A.W. site is a former railroad workshop in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the site has provided space for artistic, cultural and commercial offerings. In April 2015, large parts of the R.A.W. site were transformed into a cultural center — Art, culture, music, party and leisure in the middle of Berlin.
The site includes various clubs, bars, concert halls, galleries, snack bars and agencies, including the Suicide Club and Urban Spree clubs and the Astra concert venue.
