RED is a Grammy-nominated band from the American capital of country music, Nashville. However, the band, formed in 2002, has little in common with such music. Founded by brothers Anthony and Randy Armstrong (guitar, bass guitar respectively) and vocalist Michael Barnes, the band operates in the world of rock and metal. The band has achieved great success in the States, although for a time it was associated mainly by Christian rock enthusiasts. However, the message of Red's songs was so universal that the band was also appreciated by the mainstream, which translated not only into the above mentioned Grammy nomination, but also over 1 million albums sold in the USA. The fact that Red play great concerts and pay great attention to visuals, with an emphasis on music videos, has certainly helped their success. The album Until We Have Faces, released in 2011, reached a high second place on the Billboard 200 chart.
