About RGG Trio
One of the most prominent Polish groups playing in the classical piano trio formula. A trio of perfectionists who treat a single sound, the way it is produced and its sound context as a value in itself. RGG's music defies classification as the band members avoid the mainstream, easy solutions and obvious repertoire. With unprecedented consistency and persistence, they create their own vision of musical space, which obviously goes beyond the boundaries of jazz. Their music refers to artistic experiences resulting from communing with the expression of European artists invited to cooperate with the band: meetings of the musicians with other – not only European – artists, Evan Parker, Trevor Watts and Samuel Blaser, Verneri Pohjola. This is Tomasz Stańko's last concert group.
