Situated in Berlin Köpenick since 1995, Schlossplatztheater is best known for its opera adaptations. Classical material is retold in a new key, which led to The Junge Oper Berlin project. Contemporary chamber operas have been staged here since 2009. The programme also includes the Junge Schlossplatztheater, which comprises theatre projects with children and young people, as well as sponsorships within the framework of Tusch, a cooperation network for cultural education.
