Neil Labut’s play The Shape of Things is the story of Evelyn, an art theory student, who meets the timid and unattractive Adam. After their meeting, Adam begins to experience a life change. However, this relationship is only an ordinary Evelyn’s project, which ends with a diploma presentation of her object, which is Adam himself. It is a play about the boundaries of art, which asks us whether it is possible, in the interest of artistic creation, to afford to cross boundaries.
