Sonya Atlantova, Oleksandr Klymenko, Danylo Movchan: Wojna i pokój

Where is God when innocent people are killed? Where is He when even women, His appointed bearers of life, become targets of deadly missiles? The exhibition War and Peace opens with a watercolour by Danylo Movchan entitled Hospital, referring to the Russian-bombed children's and maternity hospital in Mariupol. And every one after that. VA Gallery, known for promoting art that finds its roots in and relates to Christian values, will present an exhibition by three Ukrainian artists. On view will be watercolours by Danylo Movchan and icons by Klymenko and Atlantova written on centuries of ammunition boxes written on centuries of ammunition boxes that the artists received from volunteers involved on the Eastern Front.
