Takes place during Berlin Art Week 2022

Piña, Why is the Sky Blue? is a techno-feminist vision of a future in which traditional knowledge and new technologies are brought together. At the center of the exhibition is the eponymous video / virtual reality installation (2021), which tells the story of a spiritual medium named Piña in the form of a speculative documentary. As a kind of artificial intelligence, Piña has the ability to receive ancestral knowledge as well as messages and dreams from people around the world in order to safeguard them for the future. The newly acquired installation is part of the first institutional solo exhibition of artists* Stephanie Comilang and Simon Speiser in Germany.
