It has been two years since Michael Gira officially said goodbye to the chapter in the history of Swans, which gave the world the legendary trilogy of the albums The Seer, To Be Kind and The Glowing Man, and concerts that have gone down in history with great black lettering. On October 25, 2019, the album Leaving Meaning will be released, which, according to the words of Gira himself, will launch a new incarnation of the New York band, operating for almost 40 years, with over half a dozen classic albums. It is also, of course, an opportunity for the premiere concert tour in the new composition, and one of its stops will be Warsaw. You don't have to praise Swans concerts. The group's performance in 2012 went down in the history of the Off Festival - so long that it had to be interrupted by technical support. Five years later, also in the Three Ponds Valley, New Yorkers last presented before Polish audience with material from To Be Kind and The Glowing Man and this time they had almost 3 hours to do it. Their return will take place as part of the event inspired by the Off Festival Katowice.
