Swmrs

The second album of Swmrs is a very deep transformation and a change in the current output of the band. On Fire Berkeley is the most burning, electrifying and breakthrough album of the band. Cole Becker and his colleagues Max Becker (guitar, vocals), Joey Armstrong (drums) and Seb Mueller (bass) spent months deconstructing themselves, their favorite albums and their own process of creating this album. Everything they left behind created completely new sounds in the band's output.

In the spring of 2018 the band went to the south of Los Angeles to work with producer Rich Costey (MUSE, Death Cab for Cutie) and refine the experimental album. Inspired in equal parts by Breeders, Rage Against The Machine and De La Soul, the sound diversity of the album points to a generation raised in streaming services. Swmrs create the music the way they consume it, easily changing from pop to rock rhythm, emo punk and jangly power pop. Extremely conscious of the resources they have, SWMRS create music that shows their own feelings, fears and hopes for their generation. They use their performances to enable fans to love each other and protect their peers. The band tries to bring everything in their power into a new progressive world emerging from the ashes of the old. Berkeley's On Fire is a full-length album from 2016 (Drive North), which they released themselves through their label Uncool Records. After many flattering reviews of the album (Rolling Stone, Noisey, Nylon, Billboard), they signed a contract with Fueled By Ramen and announced an international tour, on which Poland is one of the stops.
