Szczodre Gody: Velesar + Czarny Bez + Firlith

Velesar is a Polish folk metal project, brought to life in 2018 by Marcin Velesar Wieczorek - former vocalist of the bands Goddess of Sin and Radogost, as well as the founder of the band River of Time. It was born out of fascination with Slavic culture and history and a love for both metal and folk music. The main inspiration comes from Slav mythology, ancient beliefs and rituals, as well as fairy tales and legends that are the remnants of the rich cultural heritage of the ancient Slavs. Velesar will be accompanied by Czarny Bez, a concept metal band combining influences of Slavic folk music and post-apocalyptic science fiction motifs. They create a musical journey to the roots, to the history beyond the schoolbooks, to the reflection on the modern world and the story of the pre-Slavic spirit, bravery and courage. Krakow's Firlith band will also perform, performing melodic metal. Their music combines delicate melodies inspired by folk music and original guitar riffs, and the whole is complemented by female vocals with elements of growl.
