About Szklane Oczy
Szklane Oczy is Ania, Aga and Justyna – vocals with guitar, bass and drums. They play rock inspired by Polish punk, romantic poetry and psychedelia. They like to play concerts and they do it a lot – the girls have played during Opener, Soundrive, Ars Cameralis, Enea Spring Break, Stacja Wolimierz festivals, they have also played in Hypnosis, in P23, on the market square in Katowice, on the 50th birthday of Spodek, in an active power plant, in the zoo, in the harbour, in prison (for inmates). They have also played in the Czech Republic (Ostrava, Brno, Český Těšín) and in France (Roubaix). They have been recognised as one of the 10 most interesting new faces in Polish music – the Sanka Gazeta Wyborcza award. Their songs could be heard in 2018 on Radio Three – they played in Agnieszka Osiecka’s Studio, they got into the top 10 of the Start NaGranie programme (out of 1420 bands). The girls are laureates of the competition Dzielnica Brzmi Dobrze – they have won the patronage of Katowice City of UNESCO Music. In 2020, their debut album rzeczywistość was released.
