Guided tour of the exhibition “re/collections”. Karolina Nowicka, a conservator, will talk about the works.
The exhibition re/collections is a presentation of works purchased for the Collection of the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in 2021 thanks to a grant from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the National Collection of Contemporary Art programme. Among the works on show are paintings, sculptures and drawings by Polish artists: Marek Chlanda, Jacek Dłużewski, Małgorzata Mirga-Tas, Ludwika Ogorzelec and Tomasz Tatarczyk, as well as installations by Joseph Kosuth and Ilya Kabakov.
As part of the {Sztuka z perspektywy…} series, each exhibition can be viewed many times – each time from a different perspective: that of the curator, the artist, the educator, the volunteer, the person helping with the exhibition, the architect, the psychologist, the journalist, the choreographer, the linguist, and many others. The perspectives can be endless, and the only limit is the duration of the exhibition.
In view of the restrictions and for the safety of the audience, entry to the event is by registration. Entries are accepted by email at info@u-jazdowski.pl. Detailed information about the tour and current sanitary guidelines is available in the Visit safely tab on the CCA website.
