On their debut album Good Company, these four bearded men in hats and singer Nate Hilts present their unique style – a mix of folk, neofolk and bluegrass-folk. Their music can also simply be called an alternative country with a fresh melodic line, a large dose of sense of humor and offensive lyrics. The instrumental layer consciously remained clean: Guitars, cello, banjo, bass drum and mandolin as acoustic foundations for characteristic, full vocals and harmony.

The first album was a kind of promise, which the band kept with a surplus on their new album Illusion & Doubt. No doubt you can say that the prairie quartet has matured – and not just because a woman is playing banjo now. Harmony changes and a brilliant instrumental layer were added to the energetic, passionate and sometimes surprisingly catchy melodies.
