The Film Is a Secret Door to Reality is a cycle inspired by the eponymous book by Pavel Sladký which is an introduction to the work of ten major filmmakers of today. Once a month, Pavel will present one of the directors and some important currents of world cinema – for example, the Taiwanese or Romanian New Wave, the boom of Korean production or contemporary American independent film. He will complete the lecture with a screening of a film by a selected director.
