The Poznan museum, established in 1857 and called the National Museum in 1950, is one of the oldest, largest and most important museums in Poland. In its diverse and extensive collections, it preserves and makes available the heritage of centuries and generations, the knowledge, toil and passion of the people who collect these collections. Since 2019, its director has been Tomasz Łęcki.
