Vojta Nýdl (*1972), clarinetist, singer, composer and lyricist, studied clarinet at the Pardubice Conservatory, at the AMU in Prague and at the Conservatoire National Supérieure in Paris. He is a founding member of the Clarinet Factory quartet (originally called the Czech Clarinet Quartet), which moves across genres and his own original repertoire combines the influences of classical, jazz, Etna and electronic music. Clarinet Factory has released seven albums to date and won numerous awards. In 2008, they were part of the Eternal Seekers project together with Lenka Dusilová and Beata Hlavenková. Vojta Nýdl is also a member of the Afflatus Quintet, the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and the PKF – Prague Philharmonia. In 2021, his first solo album entitled Dítě z větru was released by Animal Music.
