About Milli Janatková
Milli Janatková is a performance artist, musician and visual artist who combines genres and artistic disciplines. In addition to her visual work, she is an improviser, composer, singer, guitar and percussionist. She has been exhibiting since 2003 and performing musically since 2006. She also creates solo interactive performances.
Milli Janatková music is influenced by improvisation, jazz, Portuguese and Czech. Rhythmic sense, percussive sounds, play with the breath and the whole body, as well as a fine sensibility, are other elements of musical expression. A very important source is the ambient sounds receptive listening and learning about yourself with inspiration in the physical and spiritual exercises, improvisation, dance and visual art.
