About N.O.H.A.

N.O.H.A. (Noise of Human Art) is a Czech-American band playing drum and bass and world music. The group was founded by members Philip Noha and MC Chevalier Hadley in 1995.

The founding members of N.O.H.A., bandleader Philip Noha and MC Chevalier Hadley, have focused on having inspiring, creative and endorphin-soaked musicians around them since the band's inception. The band's distinctive style is an open mix of drum and bass, world music, dubstep and grooves. Hits like Di Nero, Wanna Play, Dive in your life and especially Tu Café have taken the band to the biggest festivals in Europe. N.O.H.A.’s obvious affinity for traditional music and multiculturalism breaks down the boundaries between different musical movements and world continents, combining dynamic groove with live performance in a natural way. In 2013, this is further enhanced by the presence of new vocalist Kaia Brown, whose distinctive delivery adds a new musical and visual dimension to N.O.H.A.’s music and live performances. Other band members include Prague drummer Thom Herian, bassist Jatrabass, Felipe Machado from Brazil and German DJ Guido Lahrmann. The band released their first album in 1997, entitled Noise of Human Art. It released six more until 2020. The seventh album is called Process of Living and was released in 2020 after a seven-year hiatus.
