**In Sounds of Hyphae and Mycelia, Berlin-based artist Tobias Euler builds digitally controlled, pneumatically operated sound modules from components of analog musical instruments to create an expansive installation. At the opening and closing of the exhibition, live performances will take place with various musicians who will experimentally come into contact with the installation, play with it, network with it, and thus become part of the growing system. Among them are TYP, Giegling, Rosa Canina Collective and LogicNOT. **

By fragmenting church organs, accordions or orchestral percussion, the mechanics of sound production become transparent to the audience and a place for visual-acoustic impressions that can be directly experienced physically. The sound objects distributed in the space are connected by a complex, net-like network of air hoses, power and control cables. The expansion of the installation continues during the exhibition. As a result, what at first glance may appear to be a musical machine increasingly becomes a rhythmically pulsating, dynamic organism, like a fungal plant with hyphae and mycelia, whose growth processes become audible and visible. This is not only about revealing and experiencing the production of sound, but also about exploring forms of organization and expression, a turning point in social systems, and the role of networks as almost timeless organic structures.
