Performing: Magdalena Zawadzka, Sylwia Zmitrowicz
Margot, after 20 years of monotonous family life, decides to leave home to finally try to exist on her own terms. At the same time, Claude leaves her retirement home, feeling she could die of boredom any minute there. The two—quite literally—stand in each other's way in realising their dreams of a new life. Thus begins a series of exciting adventures that create opportunities for the runaways to make friends and demonstrate female solidarity, but above all to feel that they are finally alive.
Written by Palmade and Duthuron, this emotional and humorous comedy has won the hearts of French audiences, especially in Paris. French press called it a beautiful life lesson to be shared without restraint. It was written with an exquisite female double act in mind—at the Ateneum, Magdalena Zawadzka and Sylwia Zmitrowicz are just that.
