The exhibition of Lviv graphic art Invasion. Before and After focuses on the work of professional artists from the Lviv School of Graphic Arts. The aim of the project is to prevent the world from forgetting and turning away from Ukraine during this difficult time of war and to show through works of art that Ukrainians are not only a strong and courageous nation, but also very talented and creative.

The exhibition is a travelling event, changing authors, works and title. But what remains constant is the declaration of a certain attitude of Lviv artists, who condemn the war and at the same time claim that Ukrainians will defend their independence to the last moment of their lives. Why Lviv graphic art in particular? The Lviv School of Graphic Arts is a special artistic phenomenon in which the influence of European schools can be traced. It has a long-standing tradition of development, which the present generation is continuing. Due to its uniqueness, elitism and philosophical and intellectual content, Lviv graphic art has always been of interest to researchers and art historians. The authors' works show the richness of the cultural heritage and the openness of Ukrainian art to the world.

The exhibition includes dozens of prints by well-known Lviv artists of different generations, whose names are recognised not only in Ukraine but also abroad. Artists from Lviv convey their emotions, impressions and reflections through graphics, touching on a variety of themes. Their works can be divided into two categories—before and after the outbreak of war. There are painful reactions to contemporary wartime events, but also atmospheric and lyrical works about their native pre-war Ukraine, diverse in its cultural richness.
