Vaclav Spala Gallery

Gallery, which is named after a famous Czech painter was founded in 1957 and is located in the premises of the former publishing house. Its best years were between the years 1965 - 1970. But after, the reputation of the gallery suffered more and more until it were on the brink of extinction. Now, the gallery is under administration of a very strong financial group PPF thus Vaclav Spala Gallery again took the right direction to the groupe of the most prestigious Czech private galleries. The exhibition programme is dedicated to professional art of contemporary Czech artists, focusing in particular on the mapping of various aspects of contemporary painting, and also photography and sculpture.
