The stage of Krakow's Variété will be transformed into an exclusive hotel, where the dancing room service under the watchful eye of a charming concierge meticulously prepares for the reception of a great star. The diva's visit is linked to a concert show for which tickets have sold out in a flash. How will her presence disrupt the hotel's usual rhythm of life and what awaits behind the closed doors of the rooms – lust, love or perhaps scandal?
Variété's latest production is an explosive mix of dance, acrobatics, live music, romance and celebrity, set in the present day. It has been conceived and co-written by Krzysztof Tyszko, a musical dancer and choreographer, associated with many musical theatres in Poland, and Ewelina Adamska-Porczyk, a dancer, actress and choreographer with over 70 stage productions to her credit, mainly on the stage of the Capitol in Wrocław. This tandem has already collaborated on Variété mainstays Chicago and Pretty Woman: The Musical. For their newest title, they have invited three award-winning choreographers - Barbara Olech, Tina Papazyan and Adam Beta, nineteen dancers, as well as a pair of acrobats - Jack Marks and Martyna Pytel.
